The truck was filled with dog fur. My fiancée sneezed for 23 hours while driving to FL from PA. We even found someone’s dog leash under the seat. We love animals and don’t have a problem with them needing transport, but please remove fur before the next person pays $5,500 to rent the truck. For that amount, it should be the least thing to expect. We also got fur all over our clothing, and it wasn’t a great look going into and out of places and when we went to close on our home. Furthermore, it was advertised as having cruise control, which is vital on such a long trip, particularly down 95. It didn’t work. It would work for a minute or two, then shut off. Gas mileage, advertised as 9-12 or 13 miles to the gallon was actually 7. I know it can vary, but we believe the truck was not operating at its best, as evidenced by cruise control shutting off constantly, and we paid for it in gas mileage. The location was convenient, it was easy to get in and sign the truck out, and drop off was fine, also.

More comfort in the seats
Anthony RIt looks like a junkyard. I'm not exaggerating; there's crap everywhere. The dude that called me was helpful, though. Good guy.
Floyd FI was "allowed" 127 miles to make a trip that was going to be about 150 miles in total. From the pick up location I had to return home to pick up the items being hauled. My home is 28 miles from the pick up location. This pick up location was the closest to me that had the truck I needed/wanted for the date I needed. From home, the delivery location in Lancaster is 115 miles, and then another 6 miles to the truck drop off location. So I had 121 miles to go and had only 99 miles left. Add a detour due to construction and we end up 34 miles "over" and charged $1/mile. Why do you think I rented a truck in the first place? Surely not to drive it "almost" to my destination or directly from the pick up location to the drop off location.
